Description:

The emotional drama Limelight Years follows Wah Fong Ying, a semi-retired popular singer recovering from a long-term illness. Realizing her life is unfulfilled due to two failed marriages and estranged children, she travels to Taiwan to reconcile with her oldest daughter, Tong Yan. There, she meets Ben Law, a Hong Kong photographer fulfilling his late wife's final wish. A romance sparks between them, and with Ben's encouragement, Fong Ying decides to hold a final concert for her loved ones. She hires assistant Jinny Szeto and creative director Sean Song to produce the show, even though Tong Yan rejects her invitation. However, just as hope returns, darkness strikes again. Jinny discovers Fong Ying's past affair with her uncle, while Ben begins suffering from hallucinations caused by a brain tumor. This heart-wrenching story explores the complexities of love, forgiveness, and redemption in the spotlight.
