Description:

Ashita no Joe introduces an aimless young man, Joe, who flees an orphanage with no money or prospects. He eventually encounters Danpei, a former boxing trainer whose strong passion for the sport has never faded. Witnessing Joe's natural fighting ability, Danpei is inspired to resume training future boxers. Initially, Joe shows no inclination towards boxing himself. His life takes a pivotal turn when he is sent to a juvenile prison. There, he meets Rikiishi, a former boxing prodigy. A fierce rivalry quickly develops between them, sparking an intense interest in boxing that captivates not only Joe but also everyone else within the prison. This newfound passion sets Joe on an unexpected path in the world of boxing.
