Tokyo Zombie is a hilarious horror comedy following lovable slacker duo Fujio, played by Tadanobu Asano, and Mitsuo, played by Sho Aikawa. After being caught goofing off at work, the pair are forced to murder Ujimoto, their abusive and highstrung boss. To hide the evidence, they dump his rotting body at Black Fuji, a massive mountain of garbage used by Tokyo residents to discard unwanted household items and corpses. Unfortunately, the toxic combination of solid waste and human flesh reaches a boiling point, causing the dead to rise. As the flesh eating shufflebutts infest Tokyo, the bumbling buddies decide to take a road trip to Russia simply because Russia is manly. However, their escape is abruptly interrupted, landing them in a gated community run by the rich and powered by the poor. Here, wealthy moguls host brutal zombie tournament fights to relieve stress, forcing the duo into an unexpected fight for survival.
