Toho Nana Bun (Toho 7-fun) is a Japanese drama following Kurosaki Yoriko, a thirty-two-year-old woman with no job, no friends, and no boyfriend. Seeking a change, Yoriko moves from her family home in Shirokane, Tokyo, to live alone in a small apartment for the first time, with help from her younger sister, Miki. Having too much free time, Yoriko falls into deep lethargy and starts eavesdropping on her neighbors through the wall—a gaudy divorcee and an unemployed man. Her passive life is shaken when she receives mysterious letters from a stranger named Tanaka Yasuo. In a desperate attempt to find closure, Yoriko visits her ex-boyfriend Koichi, whom she still loves after five years, only to be turned away in tears. As the strange letters from Tanaka Yasuo keep arriving, Yoriko is drawn into the small but intriguing incidents happening within a seven-minute walking distance from her apartment.
