"To Our Dreamland of Ice" spans decades of passion and dreams on the ice. Set in 1980, the first story follows young ice skater Yan Zhen Hua and his friend Tang Jian as they pursue their dreams at a Harbin sports school. They meet the bright Li Bing He, forming a bond over their shared love for skating. Tragedy strikes when an accident shatters Tang Jian's dream, leading Yan Zhen Hua and Li Bing He to become partners. Their journey through competitions sparks a deep connection and love, yet fate leads them to part ways. Yan Zhen Hua continues their dream, transitioning to short track speed skating.

Decades later, in 2019, his son Yan Yang prepares for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Selected for the national short track speed skating training camp, Yan Yang embraces sportsmanship and the Olympic spirit. Discovering his parents' story ignites a stronger determination to fulfill the past generation's unachieved dreams.
