The Old Garden is a poignant drama about love, sacrifice, and regret. Searching for peace, he travels back to the quiet rural town where he once found sanctuary. Seventeen years earlier, while fleeing the government, HyunWoo hid in the home of Han YoonHee Yum JungAh, a local teacher. The two quickly formed a deep, intimate bond, finding solace in each other. However, consumed by guilt that his fellow protesters were imprisoned while he lived in comfort, HyunWoo made the painful choice to leave her and return to the movement in Seoul, which ultimately led to his arrest. Upon his release, HyunWoo discovers a heartbreaking truth: Han YoonHee remained devoted to him throughout his long imprisonment, and he unknowingly left behind the woman carrying his child.
