Set during the reign of Shogun Hidetada, The Two Musashis offers an exciting alternative take on Japan's greatest hero. The story follows two ambitious swordsmen, Hirate Musashi, played by Kazuo Hasegawa, and Okamoto Musashi, portrayed by Raizo Ichikawa. Both men strive to become the finest swordsman in the land. To achieve this ultimate goal, they must test their skills against the formidable Yoshioka and Yagyu fencing schools, defeating the top instructors of the Yagyu clan. Their ultimate challenge lies in taking on the formidable Sasaki Kojiro, played by Shintaro Katsu. As they fight for honor and supremacy, they must also navigate the complicated affections of the women who pursue them.
