The Time of Fever tells the story of two childhood friends, Ho Tae and Dong Hee, whose lives intertwine once more. After years apart, Ho Tae returns to his hometown following a family tragedy, only to find Dong Hee, who had been disowned, living in his vacant house. Their reunion forces them under one roof, stirring long-held emotions. Dong Hee struggles to hide his enduring first love for Ho Tae, a bond that has always felt like brotherhood. Meanwhile, Ho Tae starts to experience confusing new feelings he never anticipated. To escape this emotional turmoil, Ho Tae begins dating others, inadvertently causing Dong Hee pain. An unforeseen incident then catalyzes a significant shift in their delicate, evolving relationship, pushing them towards an unavoidable confrontation of their true feelings.
