The high-stakes thriller film The Terror Live follows Yoon Yeong Hwa, a disgraced former top national news anchor demoted to a radio show. During a live broadcast, a caller threatens to blow up Mapo Bridge. Yoon dismisses it as a prank, but within ten minutes, the bridge is blown to pieces. Realizing this crisis is his ticket back to the top, Yoon secures an exclusive live broadcast with the terrorist. The caller reveals he is a former construction worker of Mapo Bridge, demanding a hefty sum and a public apology from the President for his deceased coworkers. However, the government refuses to cooperate, leading to another deadly attack. As Yoon desperately tries to mediate between the unyielding government and the hostile terrorist, the situation spins out of control. The tension reaches a boiling point when Yoon realizes a bomb is rigged onto his own body, trapping him in a state of sheer terror on live television.
