In the high-octane martial arts movie The Protector 2, Kham, played by Tony Jaa, finds himself in deep trouble when his beloved elephant Khon is stolen. The theft is orchestrated by Suchart, a low-level crime boss, after Kham refuses to sell the animal. When Kham tracks Suchart to his home to retrieve Khon, he discovers the boss has been murdered. Unfortunately, Suchart's nieces, Jeeja Yanin and Teerada Kittisiriprasert, arrive and discover Kham with the dead body. Misunderstanding the situation, the martial arts expert nieces launch a fierce pursuit. While fleeing, Kham crosses paths with his old friend, police sergeant Mark, played by Mum Jokmok, who assists his escape. Kham's journey leads him to battle Suchart's superior, LC, played by Rza, and his top fighters, Number Twenty, played by Rhatha Phongam, and Number Two, played by Marrese Crump. Caught between vengeful nieces and deadly assassins, Kham and Sergeant Mark must survive the chaos.
