Description:

THE PASSAGE centers on Yu Hing, a determined museum research assistant. Her world shifts when Tao, a Japanese man, inquires about a significant piece of Chinese calligraphy: "The Cold Food Observance." Yu Hing immediately recognizes a dual opportunity. She sees potential for romance with Tao while simultaneously hoping this shared connection to the artwork can mend her strained friendship with Dong Heng. Critically, "The Cold Food Observance" is the very centerpiece of a book Dong is writing, making its re-emergence vital. However, as Yu Hing attempts to bridge these personal and professional worlds, Dong Heng reacts with unexpected and intense jealousy, complicating Yu Hing's aspirations for love and friendship. The film explores the delicate balance of relationships intertwined with ancient art.
