The Outsider A Destitute Life is a tragic love story about two people struggling to survive in the gutter of society. Misong is an indebted prostitute trapped in a redlight district, fighting a daily war just to stay alive. Living off her is Geunhee, her parasitic, jobless pimp who has always been a patronizing burden. As Misong grows increasingly exhausted and hopeless, her resentment toward Geunhee deepens. Despite their desperate attempts to escape, they only fall deeper into a vile and futile pit. The turning point arrives when Geunhee, trying to find work, encounters a familiar street thug who offers him a dangerous opportunity he cannot refuse. Faced with a critical fork in the road, Geunhee must decide their fate.
