Description:

In 1933, as Japanese forces escalate their occupation in North China, threatening the anti-Japanese resistance, tensions run high in Shanghai's multinational circles. Gu Pan, an agent from the Qingshan Military Academy, successfully assassinates the Japanese Economic Secretary Koji Koji but is gravely wounded during the mission. Rescued by the exceptional soldier Wei Dong, Gu Pan undergoes rigorous training and is inducted into "The Nest," a clandestine organization. His primary objective within the Nest is to uncover the truth behind his mysterious framing. As Gu Pan pursues justice and exposes deeper conspiracies, he gradually embraces the ideals of the Red Revolution. Adopting the codename "Hippo," he evolves into a dedicated communist fighter, committed to the struggle for a new future.
