In the crime comedy film The Mole Song Undercover Agent Reiji, Toma Ikuta stars as Reiji Kikukawa, a police constable with a strong sense of justice but the lowest graduation score in police academy history. After a sudden, staged firing by the Police Chief for disciplinary issues, Reiji discovers his termination is actually part of a carefully orchestrated plan. He is ordered to become a mole and work as an undercover cop. His ultimate target is Shuho Todoroki, the notorious boss of the Sukiyakai gang, which is the largest crime group in the Kanto area. To infiltrate this dangerous organization, Reiji must navigate the criminal underworld. Along the way, he attracts the attention of Masaya Hiura, a young boss of an affiliated Sukiyakai gang who takes a liking to him. Facing various intense hardships, Reiji must keep his cover intact as he works his way towards Shuho Todoroki in this thrilling undercover mission.
