"Maybe We Broke Up" tells the story of Joon Ho and Ah Yeong, college best friends who transitioned into a couple and now live together. Ah Yeong is ambitious, making the best of her situation, but she grows increasingly frustrated with Joon Ho, who seems to be wasting his life under the guise of preparing for an exam. This growing tension and differing life paths eventually lead to their emotional breakup.
