Description:

A heavenly deity, Mou Yim, is banished to Earth after failing to capture a cunning 9-tail fox that disfigures her face with fire. Stripped of her divine status, she lives as a skilled martial artist in a village, tasked with seeking out the fox. Her destiny shifts dramatically when she bravely saves the Emperor from danger. Attracted to the beautiful, unblemished half of her face, the Emperor promises to make her his empress. His delight turns to regret upon seeing her true disfigured appearance, but honor binds him to his word.

As Empress, Mou Yim endures neglect due to her looks. Desperate to bear an heir, she receives a magical pearl from a compassionate deity, promising temporary beauty. Transformed for one night, she recaptures the Emperor's affection, leading him to her bed. However, his profound disappointment resurfaces when her original appearance returns by morning, causing him to abandon her once more for his beloved concubine.
