The Hotel Venus is a bittersweet drama set in a strange world. Behind a shabby diner called the Venus Café lies a hidden hotel harboring people with painful secrets. Run by Venus, a mysterious transvestite, the hotel is home to Chonan, a handyman living in the attic. Other residents include the alcoholic Doctor and his long-suffering Wife, a bubbly girl named Soda who dreams of opening a flower shop, and Boy, a troubled youth who wants to be a hitman. The fragile peace is disrupted when a quiet drifter named Gai and a silent child named Sai move into Room 2. As Chonan helps Sai heal, tensions rise. Boy challenges Gai, leading to a tragic shooting that handicaps Sai. Meanwhile, Soda gets caught in illegal errands, and Doctor’s addiction drives Wife away. Each resident must confront their emotional boundaries to find hope in this heartwrenching story of redemption.
