The Hope follows Lei Ming, a former esteemed lecturer who, after multiple failed entrepreneurial ventures, accepts a high school teaching position. Driven by a unique vision, Lei Ming aims to identify and cultivate students with untapped potential, transforming them from underperformers into successful university candidates.

He spearheads a special class alongside psychology teacher Sang Xia. Together, they leverage their expertise in education and psychological counseling to guide students.
