Description:

The Forbidden Play introduces a family moving into a new home eerily situated next to a graveyard. What begins innocently with a playful chat between a parent and child about lizard tails quickly descends into terror when the child, driven by curiosity, chants a peculiar spell in the yard. This seemingly harmless act unwittingly unleashes a dangerous chain of supernatural events, turning their new life into a nightmare.

Hiroko Kurasawa, a video director and former colleague of the father, Naoto Ihara, visits the house and soon becomes a horrified witness to the strange occurrences plaguing the family. As Hiroko delves deeper, attempting to uncover the sinister mystery behind their troubles, she too becomes directly entangled and victimized by the powerful, malevolent forces unleashed by the forbidden play. The film promises a gripping journey into a world of escalating fear and unseen horror.
