Description:

The Floating Generation explores the journeys of three Hong Kong women seeking new beginnings in Taiwan, where their personal aspirations collide with unforeseen realities. Faye, 27, visiting her sister, becomes captivated by her brother-in-law's thoughtful nature, leading her to unexpectedly envision marriage on the island. Meanwhile, Lydia, 35, and her husband have invested years in establishing a dive shop on Green Island with a local photographer, navigating the daily challenges of their integrated life. Yvonne, 39, after happily teaching art in Taipei for four years and embracing her present, faces an abrupt layoff as her college streamlines departments, forcing her to confront an uncertain future.
