They soon discover society is riddled with people inflicting misery through curses: from a swindler defrauding the elderly, to a businessman committing domestic violence, and a professor suppressing students' spiritual beliefs. As Master Salt continues to help those in need, the occult club members eventually stumble upon a major scandal involving the son and successor of the influential Tendo Group, setting the stage for a climactic battle against a formidable enemy.
