Description:

The Confidant is a gripping drama following Lee Lin Yin and On Tak Hoi, two poor boys sold into the palace as eunuchs. Under the guidance of Lau Dor San, they form a tight brotherly bond and rise to become trusted high-ranking officials for Empress Dowager Cixi. However, greed eventually drives a wedge between the ambitious Tak Hoi and the cautious Lin Yin. Their rapid rise threatens Chan Fuk, the head eunuch, who begins plotting their downfall.
