The City of Violence is a gripping action thriller that follows TaeSu, a tough Seoul gang-squad cop who returns to his hometown of Onseong after his childhood friend, WangJae, is mysteriously murdered. Back home, TaeSu reunites with his old high school crew, including PilHo, DongHwan, and SeokHwan, bringing back memories of their youth. Suspecting that WangJae’s death was not a random act, TaeSu decides to investigate. His search quickly turns dangerous when he is ambushed by a violent gang, escaping only with the help of SeokHwan. As they dig deeper, the bond between the old friends begins to fracture, revealing a web of betrayal.
