Description:

The Boys From Fengkuei follows Ahching and his friends after they finish school in their island fishing village. With limited opportunities, they spend most of their time drinking and fighting. Seeking a new path, three of them decide to leave their village and head to the bustling port city of Kaohshiung to look for work. Through relatives, they manage to find an apartment to share as they adjust to city life. However, things get complicated when Ahching becomes attracted to the girlfriend of a neighbor. As they try to build a future, the young men are forced to face the harsh realities of the big city. This raw and honest story captures the bittersweet transition from reckless youth to adulthood, exploring friendship and survival in an unforgiving urban world.
