Description:

The Boss's Son at College tells the story of Fuji, nicknamed Wakadanna, a star university rugby player and the pampered heir to a wealthy soy sauce manufacturer. Basking in athletic celebrity, Fuji resists family pressure to marry, choosing a lifestyle of drinking and womanizing. This reckless behavior leads to his expulsion from the team. Things complicate when he falls for a musical revue girl, the sister of his teammate. Fearing tabloid scandals and needing his talent for the big game, his peers reinstate him, but not before administering a disciplinary beating. Meanwhile, the girl is forced by her brother to break off the affair. Although Fuji leads his team to victory in the climactic game, the triumph is bittersweet as he is left alone in the shower reading her farewell letter. Parallel to his journey, Fuji's brother-in-law neglects his arranged marriage to one of Fuji's sisters, spending his nights drinking with geisha girls.
