The action-comedy film The Bodyguard 2 follows Kum Lhau, a veteran secret agent from the Republic of Vieng, who is assigned to investigate dangerous terrorists operating in Thailand. To keep his dangerous, honorable job a secret, Kum Lhau lies to his wife, telling her he is going to Thailand for a simple labor job. To track his targets, he goes deep undercover as a popular singer signed to a major record label. During his mission, Kum Lhau crosses paths with Paula, a pretty and skilled agent who is tracking the exact same threat. Recognizing their shared mission, the two agents decide to team up. Together, they must combine their skills and wits to stop the ruthless terrorists before a massive explosion occurs in the town. Can they complete their mission in time?
