Description:

The movie The Beast and the Beauty follows Dong Gun, a young man with deep insecurities about his appearance due to a facial scar. His life changes dramatically when he crosses paths with Hae Joo, a beautiful blind girl who mistakes his car for a taxi in Seoul. Falling instantly in love, Dong Gun finds comfort in her blindness, which helps ease his low self-esteem. For three years, he acts as her eyes, describing the world to her. However, when asked about his looks, he lies and describes his handsome high school friend, Jun Ha. Their peaceful relationship is turned upside down when Hae Joo gets a donor for an operation to restore her vision. Terrified of being rejected, Dong Gun panics. To make matters worse, the real Jun Ha randomly meets Hae Joo and falls for her as well, creating a complicated love triangle.
