Description:

In the emotional anime movie The Anthem of the Heart, high school student Sakagami Takumi is unexpectedly assigned to his classs Community Outreach Committee. Joining him are three classmates, each harboring deep, unspoken struggles: Naruse Jun, a girl unable to speak due to childhood trauma; Tasaki Daiki, a frustrated former baseball ace; and Nitoh Natsuki, a popular cheerleader and straight-A student. When their homeroom teacher tasks the reluctant class with performing a musical for an upcoming exchange party, enthusiasm is initially nonexistent. However, everything changes when Naruse Jun courageously attempts to voice her locked-away feelings through singing. Inspired by her bravery, Sakagami Takumi and the other classmates find the motivation to participate positively. As they collaborate on this musical project, they begin to confront their own hidden burdens. When the day of the final performance arrives, the students must face their fears. Will they succeed in conveying the true feelings they have long kept locked inside their hearts?
