Description:

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, an actor, jobless and isolated, seeks solace and a new purpose. He discovers and purchases a collection of unique capsule monsters online, hoping to fill the void left by his career. He eagerly begins to raise them, dedicating his time and dwindling resources to nurturing these digital pets, which bring a small glimmer of hope and routine to his lonely apartment.

However, his experience takes an unforeseen dark turn. One particular monster, intended for a full twelve-day development cycle, mysteriously begins to ail and ultimately perishes on the eighth day. This sudden, inexplicable death shatters the actor's fragile sense of control and joy, plunging him into a profound grief. The '12 Day Tale' then chronicles his desperate attempts to understand this premature demise. He questions if it was his care, a flaw in the monster, or something more sinister at play, transforming his digital pet hobby into a poignant search for meaning amidst unexpected tragedy during a global crisis.
