The touching drama Thank You follows the emotional journey of Dr. Min Ki Seo, an arrogant doctor who travels to Blue Island. His mission is to fulfill his deceased girlfriend’s final wish: to find Lee Young Shin and her little girl, who was infected with HIV through tainted blood given at the hospital. Min Ki Seo seeks to apologize on her behalf. Upon arrival, he encounters Lee Young Shin, a single mom struggling to care for her grandfather who has Alzheimer’s while keeping her daughter’s HIV condition a secret. Despite her hardships, Lee Young Shin accepts her fate and tries to make the best of it, teaching her daughter how to live with the illness. As Min Ki Seo witnesses her strength, his cold exterior begins to melt. Through Lee Young Shin, the arrogant doctor undergoes a profound transformation on Blue Island, slowly changing for the better to become a warm and caring person.
