Ten Brothers follows the whimsical story of Chan DaiHa and Gei HaoYee. After HaoYee accidentally consumes ten magical beans, she becomes pregnant. To save her from execution by angry villagers, DaiHa claims to be the father. They soon welcome ten extraordinary babies who rapidly grow into adults with unique supernatural powers, except for Ten. Fearing their unusual children, the parents abandon them, scattering the brothers. Two and Three are adopted by the wife of marshal Man SaiHung, while Four and Ten join a strict circus, and One helps with the family business. Eventually, the family reunites to face challenges, discovering their weakness to gunpowder. Later, Ten uses his healing tears to cure HaoYee's sick father. When a prophecy warns that the brothers must leave or die on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, they are sent away. However, they return to save their mother, ultimately transforming into ten sparkling stars in the night sky.
