Description:

Seeking a fresh start, a young man named Yuu flees his stifling hometown for Tokyo, finding an affordable room in a cheap share house called Hakobune. The Ark is home to an eccentric group: the rough Yamaguchi, the self-deprecating Maru, the oddly cheerful manager Yoshiko, the provocative Goro, and the enigmatic, polite Kirishima. On the very night Yuu moves in, Yamaguchi, after a heated argument with Maru, goes missing by the next morning. Yuu’s unease quickly turns to dread as the remaining tenants display increasingly strange behavior and unsettling conversations. Haunted by the disappearance and their eerie demeanor, Yuu begins to suspect a terrifying truth: the residents of Hakobune might be systematically targeting and eliminating new arrivals, turning his new beginning into a chilling fight for survival against those he now lives with.
