The group, led by Shizuma, also features Tetsuma, a university student grappling with a lack of dreams, the enigmatic Rokuro, and the bright-spirited Noboru. Their collective ambition is to perform at the Dengeki Rock Festival, the biggest musical event in Japan.

As they strategize for this major goal, Shizuma suggests bringing in a new member to enhance their lineup. The four bandmates arrange to meet a candidate at a cafe, hoping to find the perfect addition. However, their expectations take an unexpected turn when the person awaiting them is a middle-aged man whose sole musical talent lies in playing Hawaiian instruments. This surprising encounter challenges their perception of what a "proper" rock band should be, leading them on an unconventional journey to achieve their rock and roll dreams.
