Description:

Swordsman in the Wilderness plunges into the tumultuous Ming Dynasty, where rampant political corruption threatens the very fabric of society. As the malevolent Eastern Depot Minister Wei Zhong Xian consolidates power, he dispatches Ye Hong Ying, a ruthless trained killer, to eliminate Gu Ren Yuan and the idealistic Donglin Academy activists.
