Suzzanna Buried Alive (2018)

Description:

A pregnant woman, Suzzanna, and her husband Satria eagerly await their first child. When Satria leaves on a business trip, disgruntled factory workers raid their home. Suzzanna confronts the burglars, unmasking them, but is accidentally impaled and buried alive by them despite being discovered still alive.

She awakens as a vengeful sundel bolong, a terrifying ghost, and conceals her new nature from her returning husband. Seeking retribution, Suzzanna systematically stalks her slayers. The remaining culprits enlist a witch doctor, who advises them on how to counter the supernatural entity, leading to a plan to destroy her home and harm her husband, believing his love tethers her to Earth. Satria eventually uncovers the horrifying truth of his wife's condition. A climatic battle ensues where Satria fights to protect her. Suzzanna exacts her final revenge, slaying her tormentors, but by personally taking human lives, her ties to the Earth are severed. She dies in Satria's arms, who soon follows her, reuniting in the afterlife.
