Description:

Stardust Over The Town chronicles the journey of Hello Nights, a band fronted by Osamu Yamada, a former major record label employee. Joined by his drinking buddies Toshiki, Akira, and Goro as chorus, and unpopular lead vocalist Shingo, the band struggled for a decade. Even with Kazuo joining later after taking over their debt, a hit remains elusive. Barely surviving, they tour provincial areas, currently accompanied by veteran singer Kitty Iwaki.

A pivotal moment arrives when the band receives an invitation to perform in a small town, which happens to be Osamu's birthplace. This homecoming stirs unease in Osamu's younger brother, Eiji. Meanwhile, Ai, a friend of Eiji's son, dreams of becoming a singer while helping her mother run a local bar. Seizing her chance, she approaches a band member, expressing her fervent desire to join Hello Nights, potentially altering the band's path as they face their past and an uncertain future.
