Description:

During China's tumultuous ten-year civil war, CCP underground agent Gong Weiping embarks on a critical mission to develop party organization in an independent camp. Betrayal by traitors leads to the arrest of 25 key targets. Gong Weiping heroically surrenders alone to save them, but falls into a clever trap by Zhongtong. Yu Xueyao, captivated by Gong Weiping, persuades her influential brother, Yu Qinzhai, a Central Committee deputy director, to release him, intending to control him through elaborate schemes.

Meanwhile, Gong Weiping receives a top-secret directive from Comrade Zhuguang: infiltrate the formidable Kuomintang Central Unification spy network. Sacrificing his personal life, he breaks up with his girlfriend and marries Yu Xueyao to fulfill this dangerous assignment. Tragedy strikes when Comrade Zhuguang dies unexpectedly, severing Gong Weiping's contact with the party and leaving his deep-cover mission a secret known to no one. Facing this profound isolation, Gong Weiping renames himself Gong Xiangguang, resolute in his commitment to his cause. His arduous journey begins on his wedding night, where he ingeniously eliminates underground party traitors, while his path becomes intertwined with Japan.
