Sparks follows the compelling journey of two brothers, Pak Wai and Chin Fan, with contrasting personalities. Pak Wai, a positive and diligent leader of an ice hockey team, champions passion and hard work as keys to victory, even against strong rivals like Tin Shing. Chin Fan, however, feels overshadowed and resents his elder brother’s prowess. A devastating accident claims Pak Wai’s life, leaving Chin Fan and Pak Wai's girlfriend Yu shattered, and their ice hockey team, Team Sparks, disbanded.

Grief-stricken, Chin Fan eventually finds inspiration in an optimistic girl named Bean. Motivated, he works to restore the team's ice-skating rink and rebuild Team Sparks. When the revitalized team confronts their old rivals, Tin Shing and his team Storm, they initially feel powerless. However, they soon realize that true passion fuels an unwavering determination to achieve their goals. Team Sparks then vows to overcome their rivals and chase the dream of a professional championship, carrying Pak Wai's legacy forward.
