Sniper Standoff is a gripping action drama revolving around two elite marksmen. After a failed operation, sniper Lee Ho Yeung, played by Michael Tse, leaves the Special Duties Unit and develops a deep enmity toward his former friend and coworker, Ko Chun Kin, played by Eddie Cheung. Ho Yeung transitions into a legitimate yacht merchant and Firearms Association president while secretly colluding with organized crime syndicates. By exploiting the trust of detective Seung Koon Ming Chu, played by Kate Tsui, and utilizing his SDU member girlfriend Lai Chan, played by Eliza Sam, Ho Yeung easily evades police raids. However, Chun Kin begins investigating suspicious murder cases, leading him closer to the truth. To gain an edge, Ho Yeung targets Wong Yeuk Ling, played by Kathy Chow, Chun Kin’s close friend who harbored a dark secret about being shot by Chun Kin years ago. This triggers an intense, unavoidable standoff between the two brothers.
