Smile Again is a gripping drama revolving around love, ambition, and betrayal. Ban Ha Jin (Lee Dong Gun), an ambitious orphan and high school dropout living with Choi Yoo Kang (Yoon Se Ah), will stop at nothing to succeed. During a trip to Switzerland, Ha Jin strategically orchestrates a friendship with Yoon Jae Myung (Lee Jin Wook), a popular former baseball star. Coincidentally, he also crosses paths with Oh Dan Hui (Kim Hee Sun), his former high school love who now plays college softball and idolizes Jae Myung. As their paths intertwine again back in Korea, Ha Jin climbs the corporate ladder at the company owned by Jae Myung’s father. However, complications arise when Jae Myung, working as a softball coach, falls deeply in love with the optimistic Dan Hui. When Jae Myung asks Ha Jin for romance advice, Ha Jin is torn. He cannot bear to watch his newly made best friend win the heart of his true love, setting off an emotional battle.
