Silent Honor unveils the compelling true story of courage and sacrifice during a pivotal historical period. In August 1949, Wu Shi, an official in Fuzhou, faces a sudden appointment by Chiang Kaishek as Deputy Minister of National Defense of the National Government. Following party directives, he bravely goes to Taiwan to assume his new role, secretly utilizing his high-level access to gather crucial intelligence for the East China Bureau of the Communist Party of China. He provides vital information on Kinmen Island troop strength and national army mobilizations. Meanwhile, Zhu Feng, a dedicated courier, selflessly abandons a return to Shanghai to take the place of a fallen colleague, joining Wu Shi in Taiwan. Working in close concert, Wu Shi and Zhu Feng successfully transmit numerous important dispatches, including a critical Zhoushan troop deployment map that aids the Peoples Liberation Army in liberating the Zhoushan Islands. Tragically, in February 1950, due to betrayal, Wu Shi, Zhu Feng, Chen Baocang, Nie Xi, and others are arrested and meet their untimely end in Ximachang Town Taipei, leaving behind a legacy of profound contribution to national liberation.
