Description:

Shizuka-chan to Papa introduces Shizuka, a young woman who lives with her deaf father, Junsuke, a local photo studio owner. Having served as her father's ears since her deaf mother's early passing, Shizuka has developed a distinct communication style, characterized by intense staring and frequent gestures. Unfortunately, these habits are often misunderstood, causing her to be disliked by colleagues at her part-time restaurant job and leading to feelings of isolation.

One pivotal day, Shizuka observes Keiichi, a regular restaurant customer, struggling to explain himself to a shopkeeper. Recognizing his frustration, she steps in to help. This chance encounter sparks an unexpected connection between two individuals who typically struggle with conventional communication. Drawn to each other by their shared experiences of being misunderstood and their unique ways of interacting, Shizuka and Keiichi begin to find comfort and genuine understanding in their budding relationship, exploring a path towards authentic connection.
