Description:

In Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi, Ogawa Takanobu relocates to Nara to teach at a girls high school after being forced out of his research group. On his first day, he clashes with a rebellious student, Hotta Ito, who offers a bizarre excuse for being late involving parking a deer. Ogawa reports her, sparking an immediate rivalry. As he adjusts to the slowpaced life in Nara alongside peculiar colleagues, Ogawa senses something unusual about Hotta. Things take a surreal turn during a walk in Nara Park when a talking deer commands him to save Japan from impending destruction. After failing his first crucial mission, Ogawa is cursed, waking up to find he has transformed into a deer from the shoulders up. To save himself and the country from a devastating series of earthquakes, Ogawa must piece together the connection between the talking deer, his mysterious student Hotta, and the secrets of Nara before it is too late.
