Sergeant Tabloid is a captivating police drama centering on Lui Hap, a thirty-one year old Emergency Unit sergeant with the Hong Kong Police Force who has terrible luck in love. When she finally finds her ideal man, Vincent Wong, she is devastated to discover he is a drug baron, leading to her arresting him. To make matters worse, tabloid reporter A1 exposes their relationship, sparking a media circus. As Lui Hap and A1 constantly cross paths, they develop a chaotic love-hate relationship filled with practical jokes and mutual rescues. Meanwhile, Lui Hap faces intense pressure at work from her strict new commanding officer, Madam Kiu, also known as Madam Kill. When Lui Hap begins falling for a handsome new recruit named Wong Tzetsuen, A1 interferes once again. Surprisingly, she discovers her own father, Boy Sir, is the mastermind behind this sabotage, with A1 acting as his accomplice. Pushed to her absolute limits, Lui Hap must fight back to secure her own happiness.
