The suspenseful film Segunda Mano begins with a violent confrontation by a lake where Owen Rico Blanco and Mariella Angelica Panganiban are fighting in a car. Angry that she will not leave her husband, Owen Rico Blanco turns physically abusive. As Mariella Angelica Panganiban tries to escape, a flashback reveals her lying to her husband, Ivan Dingdong Dantes, claiming her best friend Samantha Bettina Carlos needs company before driving into the night. Later, their daughter Angel Millares asks Ivan Dingdong Dantes where her mother is, and he replies that she has gone away. Meanwhile, in the middle of a rainstorm, a bloody Mariella Angelica Panganiban seeks help from a passing car. As the driver and passenger sing Christmas carols, she is struck by the terrifying realization that she is already dead, setting off a chilling sequence of supernatural events.
