Based on the legendary story by Yoshikawa Eiji, Secret of Naruto is an action-packed historical drama set around the treacherous Naruto Strait, which separates Tokushima from Awaji and Honshu. The plot follows Noriyuki Gennojo, a mysterious swordsman who crosses these dangerous waters to expose the dark secrets of the Awa clan. On Tokushima, a mad lord plots a bloody rebellion against the powerful Tokugawa shogunate. Noriyuki finds himself in extreme danger after discovering a secret testament of the Awa clan, written in blood by a dying man. Along his perilous journey, Noriyuki is joined by a devoted female ninja who loves him, and the beautiful daughter of an enemy sworn to kill him.
