In the hit comedy Scandal Makers, Nam HyunSoo, played by Cha TaeHyun, is a popular radio DJ and entertainer in his mid-30s enjoying his fame. Once a massive teen idol, his comfortable life is completely disrupted when a young lady named Hwang JungNam, played by Park BoYoung, appears at his door with a young boy named KiDong, played by Wang SeokHyeon. Hwang JungNam drops a shocking bombshell, claiming Nam HyunSoo is her biological father and a grandfather to her son. Unwilling to believe the claims, he tries to shut them out, but when she threatens to leak the story to the press, he reluctantly lets them stay in his apartment. Living together brings unexpected chaos, which escalates when they are spotted in public. Instead of recognizing them as a family, people assume Nam HyunSoo is romantically involved with the young woman, triggering a massive public scandal.
