Sana Maulit Muli is an emotional romantic drama about two lovers drifting apart because of the American Dream. When Agnes Lea Salonga, an overly dependent woman, is petitioned to San Francisco by her absentee mother, she struggles to survive on her own. She expects her longtime boyfriend, Jimmy Aga Muhlach, to always be there for her. However, Jimmy, an advertising executive, utilizes the time without his girlfriend to focus on improving his career. The intense demands of their long distance relationship gradually pull them apart. Eventually, Jimmy detours from an advertising conference in New York to visit Agnes in San Francisco.
