Description:

In 1995, three dedicated employees at Samjin Company find themselves stuck in entry-level positions, performing menial tasks despite their capabilities, due to their high school only educational backgrounds. They long for more meaningful work and a chance to advance. Their opportunity arises when the company announces a promotion to assistant manager for any employee who scores 600 or higher on the TOEIC exam. Eagerly, they enroll in the Samjin Co. English Class, diligently studying to achieve their career aspirations.

However, their focus shifts dramatically when one of them discovers a grave environmental scandal: a Samjin factory is illegally discharging wastewater. After the company dismisses her attempts to report the issue, the three friends unite. They now face a daunting challenge to expose the deep-seated corruption within their own company, balancing their personal career goals with their commitment to uncovering the truth.
