Saiyuuki invites audiences on an epic journey with the young monk Sanzo Hoshi, who embarks on a sacred pilgrimage to India. Throughout his perilous quest, Sanzo holds firm to his believing heart, a crucial anchor as he gathers his most challenging companions. He is joined by the mischievous monkey Son Goku, the formidable water monster Sagojo, and the boisterous pig Chohakkai – a trio notorious for causing endless problems and strife within the group.
